Our Team
David Behrman
A geophysicist with over 30 years international experience in 2D & 3D seismic acquisition survey design, project management, on-site quality control, field processing, seismic imaging, and R&D technical support.
After earning his bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston, David began his career with Texaco Research Lab as an electrical engineer in seismic recording systems, then on to Mobil E&P Technology Center (via Superior Oil) as a geophysical advisor, ExxonMobil and finally as a partner at Amigos Energy Advisor, LLC in 2002.
Paul Cunningham
A geophysicist with over 30 years of international experience in project management, acquisition, processing and interpretation of various forms of geophysical data (2D & 3D seismic, VSP and gravity), and implementation of new seismic acquisition technologies.
After earning his masters degree in Geophysics from MIT, Paul began his career with Sohio/Standard Oil in seismic operations and technology development, then on to Mobil R&D and E&P Technology Center, and finally Amigos Energy Advisors, LLC as it's founder in 2001.
John Sharry
A petroleum geologist with over 30 years of international experience in exploration and production. His considerable expertise included project management, geologic interpretation and modeling, seismic interpretation, and database creation and management.
After earning his PhD in Geology from MIT, John began his career with Gulf Research in Pittsburgh, then on to Oryx Energy, then as an independent petroleum geology consultant and finally as a partner at Amigos Energy Advisors, LLC in 2002.
Consultants on a project basis
We have a multi-discipline network of experts who can be brought in on a project-by-project basis: geoscientists, petrophysicists, engineers and geodesists. Typically their experience level will be in the 15 to 30 years range for their field of expertise. Consultants contracts with Amigos Energy Advisors (AEA) require signing a Confidentiality agreement to protect client proprietary data and technologies. As well AEA provides workplace safety, HSE, Drug and Alcohol requirements as would be needed for specific projects.
