Royce Smith is an aviation consultant with over 20 years of experience in rotary and fixed wing aircraft as a pilot and aviation consultant. He served over a decade in the U.S. Navy and has worked as an aviation and business consultant to various clients, primarily in the international oil & gas industry, for the past 14 years.

Royce has been successful at delivering strong technical and business results as well as effectively contributing to the operational and logistical aspects of oil and gas exploration and production projects.  His aviation consulting skills includes aviation auditing (aircraft, procedures, maintenance and training) as well as safety and inspection services which he has carried out for various clients throughout North and South America. In addition, Royce is proficient in aircraft pre-buy inspections, aviation fuel system inspections and accident investigations.

Royce's experiences have included project bid analysis for helicopter services for an oil pipeline construction project (Ecuador); directing and managing the United Nations Organization’s heavy-lift operation in East Timor, Indonesia (operations were carried out in a U.N. designated war zone); providing various aviation advisory and support consulting services to Mobil Oil Corp.’s Peruvian exploration affiliate; and performing aviation auditing, safety and inspection services to various clients in the United States and Brazil.
