Jonathan Pershouse has over 20 years of experience with Remote Sensing Geology and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) specializing in the Oil and Gas industry. Educated under the British system of education Jonathan obtained his B. Sc. Degree in Geology in 1977. Jonathan began his work experience as a well site geologist before obtaining an M.Sc. in Remote Sensing Geology in Texas. Jonathan has completed additional post graduate courses in structural Geology at University of Texas, Dallas.

Working initially with ERIM (Environmental Research Institute of Michigan) Jonathan joined Superior Oil and subsequently Mobil Oil before becoming an independent consultant in 2000. Jonathan is highly experienced and has been employed by companies located throughout the world. He has worldwide experience where Oil and Gas Exploration and Production as well as Mineral Exploration are practiced. He has been involved in the geological and structural interpretation of remote sensing data as well as the implementation of remote sensing data for logistical and environmental operations. Jonathan has been intricately involved in the implementation of GIS and remote sensing for cartographic purpose with the most frequent implementation of GIS by exploration, engineering and environmental companies. Jonathan is able to cost effectively design, acquire remote sensing data and implement this information into projects demanding satellite, aerial and ancillary cartographic information.
