Gloria Eisenstadt, Ph. D.

Gloria Eisenstadt is an industry-recognized expert in structural geology. She has over twenty years of international experience in the analysis and interpretation of 2-D and 3-D seismic interpretation in complex structural settings; extensional, inversion, thrust belts, and salt/shale tectonics.   She has managed large regional and basin studies integrating seismic interpretation with other data sets.  Her worldwide experience includes: West Africa, North Sea Basins, Argentina and Brazil, the former Soviet Union, and Asia. Domestically she has worked on projects in Colorado, Utah, Oklahoma, Wyoming, Montana, California, and the Gulf of Mexico.  Gloria teaches industry courses in seismic interpretation and structural geology.

Prior to becoming a consultant Gloria worked at the Mobil Exploration and Producing Technology Center for 11 years as an internal consultant, researcher and technical trainer. Her research centered seismic interpretation of complex structures, restoration and cross section balancing and physical modeling. Gloria helped develop and run a state-of-the art physical modeling laboratory investigating the development of complex structures. She developed and taught in-house courses in structural geology.

Gloria obtained her Ph.D. in Geology from the Johns Hopkins University, a M.A. and B.A. in Geology from Temple University. She is an active member in the American Association of Petroleum Geologists and the Dallas Geological Society.
