H. EDWARD (ED) DENMAN

Edward Denman is a renowned geophysicist with nearly 30 years of experience in oil and gas exploration and producing.  He holds degrees in both geology and geophysics with a masters in geophysics from the Georgia Institute of Technology, 1975.  Ed’s experience includes both international and domestic projects requiring prospects and play identification, structural and sequence stratigraphic mapping, seismic and other geophysical surveys, and acquisitions, data processing, and contracts administration/QC.  Projects completed include various offshore Gulf of Mexico and international areas with current experience in West Africa, Brazil and prior projects in Europe with associated discoveries.

Ed’s experience and training was obtained from Exxon Corporation and affiliates from 1979-1990 where projects were completed in the Gulf of Mexico, Latin America and Europe.  Subsequently, interpretation and consulting projects were conducted for the Calibre Consulting Services Company and TGS-Nopec Geophysical company from 1990-2000.  During this time Excalibur Interpretation Company was co-founded to provide consulting and geophysical interpretation service projects.  His prior experience includes work as an engineering geophysicist on major industrial and offshore drilling locations for site suitability and geo-hazards investigations with Dames and Moore and Fairfield Industries from 1974-1979.

Ed is registered in Texas as a Professional Geoscientist (Geophysics) # 3141.
