Esat Anter has over 25 years experience in all phases of seismic data acquisition. He has worked as an observer, a field service engineer, an area geophysicist designing 3D surveys and supervising operations for geophysical contractors (Western Geophysical, Capillano and Veritas DGC), and as a Seismic Acquisition Geophysicist for Oryx Energy Company. He has also worked as a consultant providing project management and QC services to oil companies, in their land and deep sea marine projects.

Esat has a B. S. degree in Physics from Middle East Technical University in Turkey, and has completed various industry related courses in the US. He speaks English and Turkish fluently and is proficient in Spanish, having lived in Argentina for 4 years and managed a seismic acquisition project in Ecuador for over 6 months. Esat has dual US and Turkish citizenship with valid passports from both countries, which enables him to work in areas of  security concerns. He is an active member of the SEG.
